Submissions Guidelines

Contributors are requested to send their submissions in an electronic format (i.e. Word) to iibc17@iscte-iul.pt. All papers must be submitted in English, no later than the official deadline.

Full paper submissions should follow the author guidelines of the Journal of International Business Studies.

Conference Topics

The following tracks are only indicative of topics that broadly fit into the conference’s theme. Other submissions that potentially fall within the theme are very welcome.
Authors are invited to select one the following 11 tracks:

1. International business and the rise of protectionism
2. New frontiers of international business: tourism and education
3. Foreign direct investment in and by Spain and Portugal
4. Small and medium-sized enterprises, born globals and international entrepreneurship
5. International marketing
6. International finance, accounting and corporate governance
7. International human resource management and cross-cultural management
8. Foreign market entry modes and management of value chains
9. Multinational enterprises, institutional environments, corporate social responsibility and sustainable development
10. Multinational enterprise strategy and organisation
11. International networks and alliances
